Another major part of life as a Theta Chi is our social aspect. We pride ourselves in scheduling a full social calendar throughout the course of the year with a variety of different tailgates, parties, and other events for the enjoyment of Brothers and their guests.
During football season, we often hold tailgates, either on-campus or at the chapter house providing food and entertainment for brothers, dates, alumni, parents and guests. Often drawing crowds of over 200 attendees, they are a great atmosphere for building energy before the game or for catching up with alumni and friends.
We regularly host "band parties," for the Brothers and their guests, which feature major national artists and bands. Our Party Barn and back yard provide an ideal setting for these events, which have drawn crowds exceeding 1,500 in the past. Some previous artists that have played at our house include:

In addition to big-name artists, we often host events featuring regional and local favorites such as The Park Band, 17th Floor, Az-izz, Tim Tyler, Trotline, Michael Stacey Band, River Dan Band, Ty Reynolds, Blackberry Breeze and others.
We also host numerous date events throughout the year, as well as we partner with other sororities and fraternities to organize downtown socials.
Each Spring, we hold our annual Red Carnation Ball, a weekend formal on which we take charter busses with our dates to an awesome destination for the event. In past years, our dates and us have travelled to:

- Hilton Head Island, SC
